I’m a researcher and part-time systems administrator. I usually work on configuring servers for high-performance computing, but sometimes I also help colleagues solving their problems.

During my work, I often encounter interesting problems, or just the daily WTF. The solutions are sometimes neither obvious nor easy to find.

I want to use this site for taking notes of my findings to keep track of the solutions myself and hopefully help others who run into similar issues.
